Adoption of Electricity Networks
Leep Utilities hold an Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) license which allows us to offer a flexible and commercially advantageous alternative to the incumbent Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) in the adoption of electricity networks on new developments and also on existing developments where the network is currently privately owned.
Under our regulatory license, Leep can adopt electricity networks that have been constructed by National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) accredited Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) in return for a financial contribution, which can’t be offered by the incumbent DNOs.
Being a true asset owner, Leep can work directly with Developers or via the ICPs as a complementary partner. In both circumstances, we will bring a fresh approach to the market, with our flexible and forward-thinking service.
