Understanding your bills from us
Unlike most UK households that receive a single water bill, homes at MediaCityUK are billed differently.
Two separate accounts, two separate bills
Due to the way the development was designed, residents receive:
- One bill for cold water
- One bill for hot water and heating
This setup can sometimes be unexpected, leading to overlooked and overdue payments. Here’s what you need to know to manage your accounts efficiently.
Managing your water accounts
Cold Water Account
- Your account number follows this format: A-123D45X6
- Manage your account via our customer portal by clicking here.
- If you don’t have login details, get in touch with us.
Hot Water and Heating Account
- Your account number follows this format: 99900XXXXX
- Payment details are included in your bill.
- Currently, hot water and heating accounts cannot be managed via the online portal.
Key things to remember
- You will receive two separate bills – one for hot water and heating and one for cold water.
- You can only manage your cold water account online via our customer portal.
- For hot water account management, refer to your latest bill or call us at 0345 122 6780
