G81 documents
This sets out the engineering standards for contestable electricity network construction and extensions under Competition in Connections. Includes guidance on design and planning, material specifications, installation and recording, and diversionary/reinforcement works.
Approved Codes of Practice
Leep’s Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs) provide guidance for third-party customers and ICPs, including requirements for LV Self Authorisation. This section also includes supporting training guides, aide memoires, and ICP briefing notes.
Distribution safety rules and safety templates
Leep’s Distribution Safety Rules (DSRs) set out the requirements for safe working on Leep’s networks by operational staff, repairing contractors, and authorised ICPs. This section also includes safety document templates such as Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test, Isolation & Earthing Certificates, and other supporting forms.
ICP LV Self Authorisation
Leep’s LV Self Authorisation Scheme enables approved NERS accredited ICPs to undertake LV live and dead works under a Transfer of Control (ToC), following Technical Assurance assessment and compliance with Leep’s safety requirements. This section provides guidance on achieving authorisation, approved working practices, and site-specific boundary control arrangements.
Design approval process
