We’re proud and delighted that our athlete partner, Nathan Maguire, won gold in the Men’s T54 1500m at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, successfully defending the title he won four years ago.
Nathan’s journey to the top of the podium makes this achievement even more remarkable. After spending 12 weeks out through injury and becoming a dad for the first time just three months ago, he produced an outstanding performance when it mattered most.
Speaking after the race, Nathan said that winning as a dad made the moment even more special, with wife Hannah and daughter Rosie cheering him on from the stands as he crossed the finish line.
Nathan’s determination, resilience and commitment in the face of setbacks are qualities we really admire, and we’re incredibly proud to support him through our Athlete Partnership.
