Electricity – Storm Austen warning
Storm Austen may cause disruption to electricity supplies this weekend. There are a number of amber weather warnings across the UK for high winds and heavy rain. If you experience a power cut or you see damaged overhead power lines, exposed cables, or damaged local substations, please call 105 to connect directly to your local electricity network operator.
Please stay safe and keep clear of any damaged electrical equipment or fallen cables while your local network operator works to restore your supply.

Water interruption – Notice of planned works in HP22 postcode

We will be completing planned works in the Kingsbrook area from 9:00am on Monday 9th November 2026. We expect works to be completed by 1.00pm on Monday 9th November 2026. During this time, you will experience an interruption to your water supply. To prepare for this temporary interruption, we recommend filling any kettles, jugs or containers you may need in advance.
As the supply will be interrupted, when your water returns it may be discoloured or you may experience air in the pipes – this is normal. If you do experience this, please run the cold water tap nearest to your stopcock (usually in the kitchen) for a few minutes until the water runs clear.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and we will endeavour to minimise disruption as far as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst this maintenance work is completed.
